Hattat Holding is founded in 1996. Hattat Holding incorporates 17 companies. There are significant improvements in our country about economy, social, and privatisation issues. While inflation decreases to digit, exporting is mercurially increasing in economic field. Privatisation has gained speed and it has been attracting a great deal of attention and as Hattat Holding, we took over operating rights of Zonguldak Kandilli, Amasra and Bartın coal fields, rights of searching methane gas in Zonguldak, Amasra, Bartın, and Kastamonu by means of privatisation. Every year in Turkey; 20 million tonnes of hard coal is imported and a large amount of FOREX from abroad. As Hattat Holding; we aim to take out hard coal and offer it to the Turkish industry, power generation and Turkish people with reasonable prices. We aim at developing new employment opportunities and contributing to the Turkish economy. Hard coal that will be taken out from these areas will be sold primarily to cement, sugar factories and iron & steel production facilities, after which the hard coal will be electrified by establishing power plants. We will attain organic matters by turning hard coal into meteorological coal and extract the methane gas after establishing a coke factory. Also we will establish a 1200 MW power plant from this coal.

In addition to the existing machine park, we added 109 CNC machines in an investment in 2006. Our target is to increase the productivity and modernization of the high-tech technologies at the same level as Europe.

As Hema Endustry A.Ş, we made big investments in final drive, differential and gear box fields. Bringing these machines to Turkey, we are working on assembling. We produce power steering system  for 1 million vehicles per year. Hema Endustry supplies engine blocks, crank, hydraulic pump and valves to leading export consumers abroad such as Agco group ,Caterpillar, Perkins, John Deere, Textron DHB companies. And supplies hydraulic steering and brake systems for commercial vehicle producers inland such as Ford Otosan, Fiat, Tofaş, BMC, Mercedes, Man, Renault, Otocar, Iveco, Otoyol and Chrysler Temsa. It also supplies hydraulic pumps, valves and hydraulic lifts for the most of the agricultural tractors which are produced in Turkey. Hema Endustry is also the Turkey producer and marketer of Valtra tractors – known as Volvo before –. In addition to this, Hema Endustry A.Ş. has been exporting full gearboxes, differentials and all hydraulic systems to Valtra.  Hema Ferrotech Foundery Factory which will start production by mid 2007 will produce 120.000  tons of cast and nodular cast merchandises per year. It will provide merchandise and semi-merchandise products of high technology molding and melting systems to all native and foreign machine production industry, especially automotive industry and it will become a brand known worldwide in this field.

A collaboration agreement is made with Patria; a Finnish company for rubber wheeled armoured vehicles which our Turkish Armed Forces may need, and for 6x6 and 8x8 armoured vehicles; their production will start soon for the needs of Turkish Armed Forces.
Today we have about 5000 employees within Hattat Holding. Most of our success within our investments and factories is under favour of our colleagues.
