My dear colleagues,

In memory of opening of our website of our company established in Çerkezköy Organized Industrial Zone on May 1973, I would like to share my feelings on behalf of my friends.

Long time has passed, 35 years. Exactly 35 years ago, we had established in order to produce a hydraulic pump weighted 3-5 kilograms. In the beginning, all technique paintings were coming from our licensor “Dowty” in England and all of raw materials were coming from foreign countries ready-made. We could only add labour with the help of nearly 15 foreign specialists’ technical support to production of a limited number of hydraulic pumps in this situation.

After 35 years, now, our company is able to produce, every kind of gear, balancer, crank, valve, lift, rear axle, whole break, hydraulic wheel for commercial vehicles and cars, whole transmission and whole tractor production and many modifications of these productions with many big and small sized contracts, new licenses and partnerships. Our company is able to produce its distinctive products and unique designs and it is a well known company in international market.

After separating from other brother companies materially and morally and to be left only a 15.000 m2 closed field in Çerkezköy, Hema Hydraulic Machine Industry and Trade A.Ş. changed its name to Hema Endustry A.Ş. in 1998 and it changed all of its establishments’ names to “Hattat Holding A.Ş.” with a new status update in 2001.

Today there are 17 companies within the body of Hattat Holding, our working site has reached up to 150.000m2 and our land has reached up to 1.000.000 m2.

Many important parts of automotive industry have produced with nearly our 3000 employees as automotive sub-industry until now. Our company, pioneer in the industry, has proved itself and achieved fair fame in automotive industry owing to making partnerships and more than 100.000 export to many international companies like John Deere, Caterpillar- Perkins, Textron – DBH and Agco- Valtra.We establish brand new Foundery will start operation at the end of 2008 and in early stage; it will produce 120.000 tons of molding per year.

Our investments as operation of Ereğli – Kandilli and Bartın – Amasra coal fields that were taken over within privatization, methane gas process and fossil fuel plant with 1400 MW establishment are continuing rapidly and 11.000 employees will be employed with opening of 3 deep wells(8 meter diameter) and production of 5 million tons of hard coal in this area.

Briefly, as I have explained, none of these improvements have occurred automatically and easily. We have worked by supporting each other mulishly with devotion. We have spent our good and bad days, months and years in order to achieve this target. We can believe how these last 35 years have passed. Sometimes we went to home late; even sometimes we could not go home. We did this with my loyal staff, all of my friends together. We have moved Hema Endustry and Hattat Holding to these days and made it a distinguished company in the automotive industry with contributions by my friends, staff together.

Today, we have become a holding that its work volume is much more than its work volume in its beginning stage and most importantly, is making continual and sustainable business. We have a company that will be a working place where our children and next generations earn their living in the future. I am proud of it and hereby I congratulate all my friends and my staff.

Our targets are conscious, our expectations are high. We will resume our working motivation, tempo increasingly in order to advance Hema inside and outside the country. We will achieve our believed vision by collaborating and working together as we have done until today.
